ESCWA engages with Governments, civil society and the private sector in global and regional platforms on climate change to raise awareness, inform and embolden policy commitments and mobilize climate action. The activities to support multi-sectoral engagement from Arab States over the course of the project will focus on the following three areas:
Multi-stakeholder engagement in Middle East and North Africa Climate Weeks.

  • Regional engagement in climate forums.
  • Regional engagement in the Water Action Decade.
