Thematic Clusters
ESCWA mandate covers a multidisciplinary programme. It brings together various topics related to development across six integrated functional clusters. Project teams work in harmony to provide well-grounded policy advice in areas of high priority to the Arab region.
The clusters contribute to the ESCWA vision, strategy and programme. They operate with an agile approach to management across administrative borders to strengthen engagement, broaden outreach, mobilize resources and forge partnerships.
The clusters enable prompt responsiveness to emerging and chronic challenges. They track developments and implications, regularly review priorities, and adjust project goals to innovatively achieve desirable results.
