ESCWA, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the League of Arab States are organizing a workshop for public officials on poverty reduction strategies and experiences from across the world, and the use of poverty measures.
The workshop aims to equip member States with information on how to measure poverty and formulate policy solutions to reduce it. It includes experiences from across the world and highlights latest developments in multidimensional and money-metric poverty measurements and reduction efforts.
