This workshop is designed to sharpen the skills of national experts and policymakers of Morocco in using the Global Economywide Trade Simulator Interface (GETSI)-Morocco platform for advanced trade policy analysis. It builds on previous workshops to introduce participants to a supplementary simulation tool capable of assessing trade agreements at the product level, enhancing GETSI-Morocco’s output with highly detailed and accurate results.
The workshop is aimed at strengthening participants' expertise by focusing on practical applications for assessing real-world trade policies and designing alternative ones, as well as global economic shocks. The sessions ultimately equip participants with the technical skills needed to design and assess various scenarios of trade policies at national, regional and global levels.
