Yemen is experiencing some of the most severe development challenges in the world, which necessitates a comprehensive action plan that addresses the multiple and interrelated aspects of Yemen’s development. In this context, ESCWA convened the third round of the socioeconomic dialogue on recovery in Yemen on 19 and 20 July in Amman, Jordan.
The dialogue aimed to define recovery enablers and constraints, identify performance indicators for all priorities, and discuss the initial draft vision.
Discussions were built on the outcomes of the first and second rounds of the socioeconomic dialogue on recovery, during which several milestones towards developing a vision for recovery and development were achieved.
