On 20 and 21 October, the ESCWA Committee on Transport and Logistics held its 23rd session at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport headquarters in Alexandria to review relevant activities and developments in member States since last year’s session in Cairo.
The committee discussed several topics, including the use of hydrogen in transport systems across the Arab region, and that of blockchain applications in logistics.
It also adopted recommendations to frame the work of the ESCWA Secretariat and member States in the upcoming year.
