Under the umbrella of the Review of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action after 30 years, ESCWA is organizing a national workshop, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Human Rights Department in Kuwait, to support the preparation of the national report on the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action after 30 years. The meeting is attended by the national team in charge of preparing the national review, and is aimed at providing technical support to the team in their work.
The workshop included some introductory presentations on the guidance note and on the Beijing process but was mainly designed to allow groups to work on analyzing the available information and work on the report write up.
