As part of a series of training of trainers workshops on the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the workplace, this workshop aims to train employers in the private and public sectors on the following topics:
- Raise awareness on the concepts of diversity and inclusion
- Manage the inclusion of persons with disability in the workplace
- Apply modifications and accommodations that can enhance the participation of persons with disability in the workplace
- Address stigma and prejudice surrounding disability among employers
The workshop, which is based on the training guide on the “Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in the Workplace”, brings together 14 participants from various ministries and organizations of persons with disabilities from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
