As part of a series of training of trainers workshops on the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the workplace, this workshop aims to prepare qualified trainers to provide specialized training to employers in the private and public sectors on the following topics:
- Enhance the understanding of basic concepts such as diversity and inclusion, and manage the inclusion of persons with disability in the workplace
- Identify accommodations that can enhance the participation of persons with disabilities in the workplace
- Describe positive non-discriminatory attitudes and terms on disability and inclusion
- Address stigma and prejudice surrounding disability among employers
The workshop gathers 12 participants from various ministries and organizations of persons with disabilities in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, the State of Palestine and the Syrian Arab Republic.
