The “Review of Information and Communication Technology for Development” (ICT Review) is a collection of short research papers on various topics related to ICT and the needs of the Arab region.
The third issue of the ICT Review focuses on the Summit (WSIS) and the issues that were raised, while providing an overview of the activities undertaken by the ESCWA ICT Division in 2004, which focused on themes relevant to the Summit, and presented the activities that will be implemented in 2005.
In an effort to introduce the concepts of the Information Society and the Knowledge Society to Arab citizens, articles were included on this and related topics.
