The “Review of Information and Communication Technology for Development” (ICT Review) is a collection of short research papers on various topics related to ICT and the needs of the Arab region.
The second issue of the ICT Review highlights the most important event of the year, the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). It outlines the objectives and importance of the Summit for the region. It also refers to the efforts made at the national, regional and international levels to make it a success and an opportunity for Member States to build the needs of the Information Society on solid foundations and via strong international cooperation.
