ESCWA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy in the Sultanate of Oman, organized an introductory workshop on the technical cooperation services provided by the Commission to member States.
The workshop gave an overview of the characteristics of the regular programme for technical cooperation, its objectives and work mechanisms, as well as the areas in which ESCWA provides technical support in social and economic matters.
About 60 officials from various government agencies in Oman participated in the workshop. They held discussions with the ESCWA delegation on ways they could receive support in implementing the tenth five-year development plan 2021-2025 for the Sultanate.
