ESCWA, UN-Habitat and the Quality of Life (QoL) Programme in Saudi Arabia are organizing an Arab Youth Photo Competition on QoL in Cities, as part of their global Quality of Life (QoL) Initiative.
The global QoL initiative sheds light on the changing needs, demands and expectations of individuals and communities in relation to what they value, and on how those are reflected in policies and actions at the local level.
The competition offers young people from the region the opportunity to showcase the beauty, challenges, and innovations that shape urban living from their own perspective, and encourages them to unveil to the world, through photos, what a good QoL in cities means to them.
