In Amman, ESCWA and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in Jordan organized a workshop on the use of the Indices Simulator Tool for Policymakers in the Arab Region (ISPAR), between 1 and 5 October.
In her statement, ESCWA Executive Secretary Rola Dashti highlighted the role of ISPAR in helping policymakers develop strategies to improve the country’s rank and enhance its economic resilience so as to attract investments, create job opportunities for youth and enhance economic growth.
During the workshop, participants from several ministries engaged in discussions around methodological issues, and proposed a course of action for both the short and medium terms.
