As part of the review of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action 30 years after its adoption, ESCWA and the Ministry of Social Development in Oman organized a national workshop to support the preparation of the report on the country’s progress in implementing the Declaration.
The workshop, held on 23 and 24 April, provided technical support in terms of preparation, planning and cooperation in the process of conducting the comprehensive national review that includes achievements and challenges as well as the way forward to enhance its implementation in the next five years.
Similarly, to launch the Palestine consultation process, ESCWA organized on 16 and 17 April a workshop in Amman in cooperation with the Ministry of Palestinian Women Affairs.
