The forum concluded with a set of operational recommendations that will contribute to the establishment of a network of Arab rural practitioners and the development of a strategic agenda on renewable energy and rural development to increase the adoption of small-scale renewable energy technologies in rural productive activities.

ESCWA team also inaugurated renewable energy projects in the field and discussed their positive impacts on the lives of the beneficiaries and the local communities.
