The 2030 Agenda focuses on inclusive and sustainable industrial development as a basis for economic growth. Given this fact, ESCWA held a plenary session during the AFSD on sustainable industrial development and integrated value chains in the Arab region.
This AFSD session highlighted ways the region managed to recalibrate supply chains during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Participants also explored industrial investment opportunities, and shared lessons learned when operating under crisis.
