Millions of people in the Arab region are deeply suffering due to multiple wars and crises, which deprive them from hoping for a better future in their countries and curtail their participation in the revival of their communities.
On 26 April, ESCWA launched a new challenge for young people: “Restoring hope: beyond war and suffering”.
Contestants under the age of 35 - individuals or groups - are invited to suggest an idea or proposal in Arabic, English or French, either through a short video or in writing.
Deadline for submissions: 20 June.
