ESCWA organized two capacity building workshops for rural women in Tunisia and Lebanon respectively, as part of REGEND initiative, funded by Sida.
The workshop in Tunisia focused on cattle breeding, feeding, and improving production and forage agriculture. While in Lebanon, the participants went over the several aspects of food manufacturing and safety, personal hygiene, and food packaging and preservation.
The practical aspects of both workshops proved extremely beneficial to the participants who will start to apply the acquired knowledge in their work.
