On 27 April, ESCWA, in collaboration with the League of Arab States (LAS) and the United Nations Population Fund(UNFPA) organized a virtual webinar on the sidelines of the 55th session of the Commission on Population and Development entitled "Population and Inclusive Development in the Arab Region: Building Back Better".
Participants discussed the integration of vulnerable groups in Arab societies and their role in economic growth.
The webinar highlighted promising ways to involve different population groups in the development process, and discussed policy recommendations to promote inclusive and sustainable development.
