Given the challenges faced by businesses when taking transformative and ambitious steps to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ESCWA held a roundtable on “Partnerships for accelerating the SDGs” within the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development.
The session engaged business leaders and policymakers in a discussion around means of improving the enabling and regulatory environments for greater private sector support to the SDGs.
Participants explored ways to enhance mutual accountability between the public and private sectors and to increase private financing for the SDGs.
