To promote digital cooperation and development in Palestine, ESCWA held a virtual workshop on the national Digital Agenda in cooperation with the Ministry of Telecom and Information Technology.
The workshop on 21 March was held as part of the Commission’s project to produce digital agendas for Arab countries and the region as a whole, to enable policymakers to harness information and communication technologies (ICTs) for development. Participants discussed the concepts of digital transformation, the current reality of digital development in Palestine, and the measures proposed to implement the digital agenda.
The workshop also highlighted successful digital transformation initiatives in the Arab region and the world, and was an opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, and best practices.
