On 23 and 24 May, the League of Arab States (LAS), with the support of ESCWAand OHCHR, organized a regional workshop in Riyadh on the reporting process of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
The workshop trained participants to report to the CRPD committee and aimed to enhance member States’ monitoring capacities at a national level.
Participants shared their perspectives on how best to approach the current monitoring and reporting processes in their respective countries, and how to incorporate what they have learned during the training.
