On 10 May, ESCWA and the Ministry of Telecom and Information Technology (MTIT) in Palestine organized a consultative workshop on the National Digital Accessibility Policy.
Participants discussed the draft e-Accessibility policy prepared by ESCWA in cooperation with MTIT, which included the preparation of a report on the status of digital accessibility in Palestine.
The workshop also discussed the main concepts of digital accessibility policies, the templates developed by ESCWA for the Arab Digital Inclusion Platform (ADIP) project, and best regional and international practices in digital accessibility policies.
