In preparation for the first round of national reports on New Urban Agenda (NUA) implementation, ESCWA, in partnership with the UN-Habitat Knowledge and Innovation Branch and the UN Habitat Regional Office for Arab States, held on 26 May the first regional webinar on monitoring and reporting progress on NUA implementation.
Participants discussed the importance of national reports that feed into the UN Secretary-General’s quadrennial report, as well as reporting guidelines, the monitoring framework and online reporting.
They also reviewed the tools and resources available to facilitate reporting and initiated a dialogue to share experiences from the region.
