Within the framework of the Sida-funded REGEND initiative, ESCWA organized a regional multi-stakeholder forum titled “Upscaling Investment on Small-Scale Renewable Energy in Rural Areas: a Cross Sectoral Approach”, in partnership with the National Agency for Energy Conservation (ANME).

The forum also featured the launch of two ESCWA publications: the REGEND Best Practices Toolkit, and the technical paper on de-risking investments in small-scale renewable energy in rural context.
