To support member States in improving economic planning, ESCWA launched a project entitled “Index Simulator for Policymaking in the Arab Region (ISPAR)” and created a web platform that enables simulation and index calculation for key selected global indicators.
On 10 December, ESCWA organized a virtual expert group meeting to introduce the ISPAR platform to member States. Participants reviewed its current functions and the support it provides to the policymaking process in the region, and proposed means to improve it.
