From 28 to 30 November, ESCWA, in partnership with the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in Beirut and with the support of the Sultan bin AbdulAziz Al Saud Foundation, organized a regional workshop to support the implementation of inclusive and comprehensive education in the Arab region.
Educators and teachers from 19 Arab countries participated in the workshop, which aimed to build their capacities and provide them with the necessary tools and skills to enhance the quality of education and ensure the participation of all children in school, including children with disabilities.
The workshop is based on the training package on inclusive education and disability that was prepared by ESCWA, UNESCO, and with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre.
