In order to ensure that persons with disabilities have access to digital technologies, ESCWA organised on 12 April a meeting to discuss with experts from the Arab region the best options to be adopted to better serve regional e-accessibility needs.
The meeting aimed to come up with a future roadmap for the Arab Digital Inclusion Platform (ADIP), launched by ESCWA in 2020, which focuses on ensuring better e-accessibility in the region.
The meeting also used the results of the consultative survey as a backdrop against which the future of ADIP would be explored and analysed.
