To support small businesses in Morocco, ESCWA and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) newly established Centre of Entrepreneurship in Morocco hosted its first forum under the theme of “Entrepreneurship: A lever for integrating current and future generations into the dynamics of development in Morocco”.
On 1 December, diverse stakeholders from the entrepreneurial ecosystem shared regional and local practices, discussed scaling up the most successful regional and local initiatives, and reviewed the challenges and opportunities to provide small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with the tools to succeed.
The forum served as a platform to mobilize the public, private and non-governmental sectors in encouraging multi-stakeholder cooperation to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth for SMEs in Morocco.
