To drive positive change and create a more equal future for all, ESCWA launched the first Annual Arab Entrepreneurship Award titled “For an equitable future: bringing our communities forward” for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) driving social change.
SMEs in the Arab region are invited to submit a visual presentation of their business and demonstrate social impact, either through a social product or service, a company’s defined values, or by giving preference to people from marginalized backgrounds when hiring.
Deadline for submissions is 30 May. The winning company will be announced at the end of August, and will be awarded at the 2nd Arab SMEs Summit in October.
