Executive Secretary Bader AlDafa visited today Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transportation Ghazi Aridi and discussed cooperation between the regional commission and the ministry. Talks also revolved around the studies ESCWA could draft on the implementation of major transport-related projects, and technical cooperation the Commission could extend to the Ministry to serve the implementation of related agreements that Lebanon had joined.
AlDafa invited Aridi to visit the ESCWA headquarters and get an in-depth look into what the Commission could offer in the field of transport.
Both parties also agreed to assign two committees from their respective ends to follow-up on the subjects of discussions.
