In Rabat, ESCWA, in cooperation with the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), organized a workshop on measuring, monitoring and evaluating the regional integration performance in the Arab region.
The workshop discussed how to employ the ESCWA indicators system to evaluate Arab economic integration and ways to measure it, as well as the use of the indicators system to establish trade policies and enhance development.
The workshop also reviewed the study developed by ESCWA on trade policy in Morocco, as well as the implementation of mechanisms for successful trade integration.
