ESCWA has launched the “National women’s machineries (NWM) in the Arab region” web platform, a one-stop-shop for NWMs in the region to facilitate access to strategies, policies, and knowledge materials relevant to advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The platform provides information on the role of NWMs operating in Arab countries, allowing donors, policymakers, women’s organizations, academics, and researchers to learn about their role and mandates, as well as the important work they do in advancing gender equality.
The platform is available here in English and Arabic, and will be updated regularly with new information, knowledge products and free on-line training courses.
