On the sidelines of Brussels VI Conference on Syria, the National Agenda for the Future of Syria (NAFS) programme organized on 4 May a webinar on “Remittances, a vital lifeline for Syrian households: Dynamics, Volume and the Future”.
NAFS shared recent findings of a series of studies it developed under the framework of the remittance project. The studies examined the underlying dynamics shaping the flow of Syrian remittances from major countries as well as highlighting the dynamics of remittances inside Syria.
Participants also reflected on the findings, main challenges and recommendations included in the studies.
