On 26 April, ESCWA, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Major Group for Children and Youth (MGCY) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) organized the Arab States’ regional breakout session at the 2023 ECOSOC Youth Forum.
The hybrid session, titled “Learning to Earning, Young People’s Transition Challenges and Opportunities”, raised top priority issues for young people - including the need to upskill and reskill them – and explored alternative work pathways.
The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum provides a global platform for dialogue, engaging young people from different countries and other key parties.
