On 15 December, ESCWA organized a webinar titled “A Non-technical Overview of Economic Modelling Tools for Public Policy and Impact: Morphing Knowledge into Practice”.
The webinar provided a sneak peek at the ESCWA Modelling Toolbox. Participants were introduced to the benefits and challenges of incorporating economic modelling tools in governmental processes, with an emphasis on their utility in times of crisis.
Participants explored a special model developed by several ESCWA member States. They also received the first-hand experience from international and regional partners on how to build partnerships that ensure the success and sustainability of their programmes and projects.
