On 15 September, experts from around the world discussed the “Survey of Economic and Social Developments in the Arab Region 2019-2020” and shared their comments in a virtual meeting organized by ESCWA to prepare the publication for issuance.
An annual publication, the survey provides insights on macroeconomic trends, and delves into interest rates, inflation, productivity growth and balance of trade in Arab countries. This year’s issue features the most recent data up to March 2020 and forecasts for the coming years.
