To boost dialogue between the public and private agriculture sectors and foster collaboration among digital economy stakeholders, ESCWA participated on 1 June in a national workshop on digital economy in Iraq, organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the World Bank Group.
Participants discussed potential cases using digital economy in Iraq and outlined actionable plans towards the country’s digital transformation. ESCWA stressed the role of national platforms in facilitating an inclusive environment for digital transformation in the agriculture sector.
Participants also explored potential plans, models and projects for nationwide digital upskilling and transformation.
