On 9 June, ESCWA participated in the virtual regional workshop for e-government experts, organized by the Information and e-Government Authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The workshop aimed at discussing the new methodology of the UN e-Government Surveys and highlight the new e-government programs of Arab countries, especially in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Participating Arab countries presented the developments of e-government programs, which have grown and accelerated during the past year, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
