On 24 and 25 January, ESCWA and the Ministry of Planning in Libya organized in Tunisia a national workshop on developing the national strategy for social justice in Libya.
Participants, including the national team in charge of drafting the strategy, discussed the content of the latter, reviewed the underlying themes, and proposed suitable amendments.
The workshop comes within the framework of the follow-up to the technical support programme implemented in Libya by ESCWA since January 2022, with the aim of integrating the principles of social justice when developing and implementing social and economic strategies, policies and programmes.
