To promote cultural and creative industries and highlight their contributions to the economic development of the Arab region, ESCWA in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Culture and other partners, organized the Creative Industries Forum (CIF) on 21 and 22 February in Amman, Jordan.
The Forum aimed to build an enabling environment to strengthen small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the cultural and creative sectors by creating a digital platform for opportunities, networking and capacity-building.
A group of experts, specialists and representatives of international and regional organizations participated in the Forum, in addition to representatives of SMEs and companies from the creative and cultural sectors in the region.
