In the context of collaboration between ESCWA and UNDESA on successive UN e-Government Surveys, ESCWA contributed on 24 May to virtual regional consultations aimed at improving the 2022 round.
ESCWA stressed the importance of updating the survey in order to help countries build back better after the COVID-19 pandemic, advancing proposals for fine-tuning selected components.
The e-Government Survey is a policy instrument for analysing and measuring e-Government development in countries. It yields relative rankings of e-Government taking into consideration SDG implementation.
