On 9 October, ESCWA organized a virtual induction meeting on behavioural insights in public policymaking to improve public policy in the Arab region.
Participants were provided with an overview of behavioural science and how it can shape policymaking, and learned about best practices in national development planning in the region and beyond.
They also discussed member States’ needs and ways behavioural insights can enhance areas of improvement, as well as the role of digital interventions in supporting behaviour change.
