On 29 July, ESCWA and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) organized a dialogue aimed at facilitating knowledge exchange on social justice and supporting Arab countries to capitalize on experiences from conflict and fragile situations.
Experts and development practitioners discussed key elements that may promote or hinder social justice in contexts of conflict and fragility. They also explored potential solutions grounded in conceptual frameworks, evidence, and concrete country experiences.
The dialogue is part of a project aiming to develop and implement guidelines to address social justice challenges under conflict and fragility.
