In the framework of the series of capacity building workshops for rural women in Algeria under the Regional Initiative to Promote Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND), ESCWA is organizing a workshop on sustainable oil extraction in Tissemsilt.
The workshop aims to enhance the knowledge of rural women in Algeria on the concepts of aromatic and medicinal plants, and the extraction, refining and packaging of plant oil products. The second day of the workshop is dedicated to the practical implementation of the knowledge learned on the first day.
