As part of a training programme in Jordan, organized in the framework of the Regional Initiative for Promoting Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND), ESCWA is holding an online seminar for students, engineers and practitioners to discuss small-scale renewable energy, energy efficiency in buildings, and sustainable agricultural practices that take into account the sustainable use of energy, water and other resources. The webinar, held in collaboration with the Jordan Engineers Association, is aimed at demonstrating the strong correlation between water, energy and food (WEF nexus).
