In the framework of a series of workshops on the use of the Index Simulator for Policymakers in the Arab Region (ISPAR) to address gender equality gaps, ESCWA is organizing a training workshop in the Syrian Arab Republic targeting policymakers from the Syrian Commission for Family Affairs and Population and other entities.
This is the second training workshop on using ISPAR for the Syrian Arab Republic. The workshop focuses on reviewing the background information of the first workshop, identifying policy priority areas, assessing obstacles to close the gender gap, sharing experiences and best practices, and identifying short-, medium- and long-term goals to improve the ranking of the Syrian Arab Republic on global gender equality indicators.
