Improving programmes for SMEs: Jordan

This is the second in the series of Entrepreneurship Community Workshops and Policy Roundtable in Jordan. The workshop aims to examine the government and non-government programmes for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and to assess the regulations that directly or indirectly impact the establishment of new SMEs and the operations of the existing ones. The workshop will result in a set of recommendations that address the gaps in Jordan's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

  • Then the session has started as Mr. Kareem Hassan gave a brief recap of the previous workshop
  • Each of the participants introduced themselves and gave brief information about the organization they belong to or own. 

Starting the Interactive session on mapping government and non-government programs needed by SMEs. The hosts explained the entitled role of participants to review and validate the content of the map and edit as needed.

Hosts carried out the session to make sure that all participants were able to add their input properly.

The participants were asked to join the discussion about government and non-government programs they have pointed out in the interactive session.

The Hosts categorized the inputs from the participants and discussed the prospects of the recommendations.
