ESCWA seeks to assist member States in building their capacities by facilitating peer learning and providing knowledge sharing opportunities on best practices. In this context, ESCWA is organizing a meeting with the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Kuwait and the Ministry of Economy and Trade in Lebanon. The meeting seeks to discuss ESCWA’s project proposal, which is aimed at enhancing the consumer protection policies of the Lebanese Ministry of Economy and Trade and building the capacities of its Consumer Protection Directorate.
ESCWA will be organizing and coordinating additional meetings with the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Kuwait to further discuss supplementary capacity-building activities and other means of support that can be offered to enhance the capacity of the Lebanese Consumer Protection Directorate.
